Weber, Engineer, of Napier, and an old settler, left this town for Pahiatua on Tuesday week to inspect land m the Mangiitamokc block with view to purchase, He lnis not boon heard of since, and grave fears aro entertained as to his safely, as the rivers were in flood at the time. A search party was out yesterday but no tidings were found. Another party lias gone out to day to make further search.
