Mr H. Danu, .condenmiog the burial fees sj®t' prevailing in the parish'; The: elude the following communication from • the Rev. Dr Lee, of All' Saints': Church, who marked it 'Public aud' Unconfidential'Tho Rev. Dr Jjce, in acknowledging tho printed circular which the clerk of the vestry.of Lambeth has so courteously sontto.bim, writes to say that he has uovor heardof Mr Henry Dunn, either in connection with Tooting or any other cemetery, or with any other place or person. (Laughter.) Dr. Leo, ventures to point out that the resolution of thevostry. highly beuavolont as is its intentions (for in tho modem liberal fashion it soeka to doal so liberally with other people's property), is absolutely regarded by Dr Leo, (aud will be bo regarded by every honest and reasonable perron) sb merely wind and words. (Laughter.) At tho same' time, evidencing Dr Loo's charity, cculd it bo shown to his satisfaction that in Mr Dann's exceptional case (should such.ft contingency occur) the remission of the vicarial burial fee would be only right- arid: charitable. Dr Lee, as a Christian • minister, would be extremely and particularly happy of having the 'remitting it." ' (Laughter).—Mr Goboldick said the man who could writo a letter like that wajjH dißGjraco to any deiimninotion, letters were received, Mr Dann observing that he would consider what stops the vestry could next take iu the direction of abolishing the fees.
