THE Thoroughbred Horao Treason, By Traducer, dam Lady Jane by Riddlesworth, grand-dam Mclora by Gltndower—Arab, TREASON is a beautiful golden chestnut, standing about lixteen banda high, with immense bone and muscle, with very superior action; hat a splendid constitution and good temper ;i3 quiet to ride or haudlo, He has proved himself a euro foal-getter; has distinguished himself well on the turf, having never lost a race when starting for weight-for-ago and welter weight-for-age. He took first prize at Richmond Agricultural Show, Nelson; ho also took first prize at the Marlborough Agricultural Show. TREASON is tho sire of that splendid crosscountry horse Erebus, that has so well distinguished himself, both on tho flat and over hurdles. RAPID RONE is out of the trotting mare Fidget, imported by James Stark, Esq., from Tasmania, RAPID ROAN is brother to the famous trottingmaro Nelly. RAPID ROAN has only been shown five times, and has taken two first and three second prizes. He is a very fast trotter; has first-class action and a splendid tomper. RAPID ROAN stood in Timaru and Temuka districts for five years, and has left the best roadsters and carriage horses in Canterbury, Torms-i'3 10s single mare; groomage fee 6s.
