■■ _«_—. jL A Now York Sun'a London caotggram dated 23rd June Bays :~The President of the Divorco Court gave a private hearing to the divorco case of Lord Colin Campbell and his wife to-day. The trial of actions of Lady Campbell agaiußt his lordship, and the counter suit of Lord Campbell against lior • ladyship were ordered to be heard jointly. Lady Campbell, who was formerly Alias Blood, of New York, obtained a decree nisi soma time ago. Lord C. Campbell; hoping to Stevent the Court from making the ivorce absolute, now charges his wife with adultery, with the Duke of Maryborough, Mr Shaw,- tho chief of the London Fire Brigade,' (ieueral Butler, husband of the painter of tho "Roll Call," and her ladyship's physician. Lady Campbell's solicitor denounces the charges as part of a conspiracy, aud declares that they are based upon tho flimsiest of evidence possible to conceive, and that\the evidenco would not stand iu a courier a moment. He says further, thavthe suiall amount of alimony which the Court compelled Lord C. Campbell to allow her ladyelup is nut sufficient to maintain hor. She, therefore, has been driven to eugage in literary pursuits. She : will shortly publish a novel dealing with tho vagarioi of fashionable life. Eminent counsel have been ousaged on both sides, and the divorce trial' will begin ajM tho middle of July. , 1%
