The Mftßtgrton reception Committee met last evening, the following being present: —Meura McKenzie (in the chair), Fitton, Hirachberg, Rapp, Kibblewhite, W. Perry; Ranganui, and Wickersoh, The various sub • committees reported aa follows:—That arrangements had been made, for the visitors to stay "at the Club, and that a dinner in honor of their visit wouldbeheldat theaaihe hotel at. 1 o'clock on Monday evening. That the conveyances had been procureiAjjjiconvey the team wherever thoy might require to go, That His Worship the Mayor had corisuuted to proclaim apttblio holiday on Monday afternoon on requisition, and that a requisition signed by all the principal business .people had been obtained, A recommendation to thefjtfect that a portion of the ground bertnred for ladies was, made to the ground' Committee. A committee. Was appointed to arrange for gate, and boundary keepers, It was reported that the Volunteer band would perform leverol selections in Queen Street previous to proceeding to the around, and that Sergeant Trice had promised to assist in keeping the ground clear.
Tho mooting adjourned till Saturday evening at T.-30. '
