3?h« ordinary meeting of the above Board wm hold at the rosideno# of Mr J. Orippa on Saturday last. Present—Messrs George Moore (Chairman) E. Meredith, R. R, Meredith, John R Elder. \ i_^T Tho minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. A letter was received from the clerk of the Caatlepoint Board to Mr Hugh Cameron, explaining why Mr Cameron's name had not been placed upon the rate roll, Mr R. R. Meredith submitted a state* ment obtained by himself, and Mr Morrison, as delegates from the.Board, showing a credit balance of £4912s 6d in account with tho Csstlepolnt Board, . The following motion of which notice hiwl been given by Mr Morrison at the previous meeting was put: ''That at tha next ordinary meeting of the Board he (Mr Morrison) would move that the resolution striking a rate be rescinded, and that the advertised rate of jjth of a penny in the £ be struck." .Seconded by Mr Moore and carried. jfr The Chairman gave notiifPthat he would move at the next meeting " that the resolution passed at last meeting re-.
