■ Sir, —I bog to ask-through/your .paper why the Mastorton-Mangahao Special Settlement is not ready for allotment, It was the 6rst Association to bo formed, and about eighteen months has elapsed since that time, aud I think it is: quite time the Committee, or some member of it should explain through your valuablo columns the cause of this unnecessary delay, or I would suggest that Mr George Beetham be asked to make full inquiries, so that we may know the exact position. ■ I am, &c, A> Akxioub Member.
