o A REPRESENTATIVE RIFLE TEAM, To hie Editor, Sir.—On the near approach of another shooting season 1 would suggest that an effort should be made for a representative Wairarapa rifle team to try conclusions with Wellington, and perhaps even to go farther. They have a greater number of volunteers in Wellington to select from, but we havo some good shots in the district, and if they were to practice up for a representative team there is no doubt they would give a good account of thornselves. The selection of such a team would givo a great impetus to rifle shooting in tho valley, and apart from the honor .voiild in all probability repay the members by prize money at tho various associations. Now is the time to make arrangements, and "Never venture, never win." Commending this suggestion to our Volunteers, 1 am, &c. Excelsior,
