WHAREAMA ROAD BOARD.

At a meeting of the ffhareanw Road Board held at Isaac Cripps' on 26th inut, there were present Messrs E. and R. Meredith, J. Morrison, and'.Elder. Mtjfc R. Meredith occupied the cljair. Moore stating that deed box with locks, etc, had been forwar,ded;<and asking Mr Meredith to withdraw-* notice of motion; from Bank of New South Walts asking if the Board wonid have a credit or debtor balance, and re accounts; from Mr MoHutchon, applying for clerkship at per meeting; from Wairarapa Daily ai to the rate of advertising; from Wairarapa Star, re same. The following 'account* were pnssod for payment:—Eaat County Council re charges in connection with the formation of district £Bl6s 9d, Wairarapa Daily £sl4s 2d, Wairarapa Star £5 2j 6d> Robt. Gardner and Co., deed box, LI Si. Resolved that the Chairman and Treasurer not having mado arrangements for opening a banking account, the' accounts stand over till next mooting. That in the abßenoe of Mr Pinkerton (acting dork of the Board) he having met with an aocident, tondors for clerkshipclose at the next meeting of tho Board.
