STORMS IN THE SOUTH.
'IWO CHILDREN WASHED AWAY. , (Press ssociation,) Christchtoch, this day. During the storm on Thursday'two girls agod 11 and 7 respectively, children of John May of Little Akaroa, were washed away in a creek, The youngest was found drowned, but the other was found jammed by a log and still alive. She is now apparently all right. Much damage has been done to bridges and culverts in the Akaroa District.
