Boiven, Chairman of the guarantors (if the West Coast and Nelson Railway contract, has received a letter from Sir Scott, the London delegate, giving the following particulars as to the personnel of the syndicate formed to construct the Railway" Lloyd's Barnott's and Bosanquct's Bank (Limited), which takes the chief part in promoting the Company for the formation of the Ea-t and West Coast Railway, is one of the strongest private banks in England, Tho Board of Direotors of tho proposed company is oomposed of only a few working members. Mr T. Salt, M.P. is the Deputy Jhairman of Lloyd's •Barnett'a and Bosanquot's Ban*. He is also chairman of the North Staffordshire Railway Company, and was a member of the last Conservative administration. Mr Edward' Brodie Hoar is one of the City Directors of the same Bank. Sir Charles Clifford is too well known in New Zealand to need further Hescription. Mr Hillton is a member of the well-known-firm of Miles Bros, and Co., Grace Church Street.' The solicitors are Messrs Flechfield and Williams, solicitors to the Bank of England. It is tho intention of the Directors to put the scheme before the public in London as free from promotion as they have received it from the guarant»is in Ohrittokuroh. \
