The.minutes 4 of tho previous ■ meeting having been read and confirmed, ' the Obirman stated that Mr John King had kindly offered to take the levels and prepare estiinates,fpr the construction of' a football ground* and also .reported that the Trustee were favorable to allotting a suitable piece of ground in the Park '' for football purposes, Mr Kingt.offer was thanks, < urf Resolved That * general be authorised, to take immediate Btepj $/-:> form a footb'ail'ground, and have the • work carried out in a proper manner, Thtttn entertainmentbeheld on ths Queen s Birthday, and that thi following gentlemen bo roquonted to act« a Committee to carry,, out the same :-Mess» A.
