Blenheim, April 20. Mr Conolly, M.H.R., addressed the electors at Pietoii last night, opposing the Ministry and its policy, and following Major Atkiiisou, Mr Conolly received a vote of thanks. An amendment, favoring a. vote of thanks and confidence was rejected by a large majority. His apathy on local affairs was greatly condemned at the meeting.
. . Auckland, this day. A six roomed house, occupied by Michael E. McGarvey, Epsom, was burnt down last night. It was insured for £3OO, The origin of the fire is unknown. ;
