MtSsns Lowes and lorns fortnightly stock sale wra held yesterday, there tiding 6000 sheep and 300 head of cattle yarded. Tho wholo of the cattle sold' under the hammer, and all tho sheep with tho oxception of about 'IOO wcro also sold, The prices of cattle were firm, but sheap MO still very low. Tho following prices ' were obtainedßeef, £sl2s Gd; Store bullocks £4l os and £1; store cows, 50s to COs; two-year-old steers, GOs ; yearlings, good, 38s; weaners, l(is to 21s; Binall fat sheep, 7s 9d ; store wethers, 6s Gd vjiod heavy breeding ewes, os (id, eec*< class, -Is; inferior ewes, 3s to 3s , Gd; culls, Is 9d to 2s Gd; lambs in the wool, 4s yd to 53 Gd for good, and 2s Gd ■ to 3s Gd for small.
