To bo run under the Wairarapa Jockey Club rules, when not contrary to these regulations. The saddling bell will ring at 11,30 each day, and the first race starts at 12 o'clock. Tho timo for starting each event will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race. No person will bo allowed to enter a horse for any race (hack race excepted) unless ho bo a subscriber of at least £1 to the raco fund. Three entries, or the public money will be witheld'. No scratching of horses allowed, unless through the secretary, and 15 minutes before the time of starting. The starter has the power to place fractious or kicking horses, or disobedient jockeys in any position ho thinks necessary to socuro a fair start, i All entries to be mado in writing, sealed and addressed to the secretary, entrance money enclosed, with namo, ago at tho timo of entry, and pedigree of tho horse, name of the owner, and colors of tho rider. In all nominations for handicaps tho previous performances are to be given. All jockeys to ride in proper racing costume, and any jockoy riding except in colors entered will bo fined two sovs. No entry will bo accepted unless accompanied with the amount of entranco money, nor will any'entry bo received after tho dates and hours mentioned under any pretonco whatever. No entry will bo received for any of the races except oil thcao conditions; That all disputes and objections arising out of the races shall be decided by a majority of the stewards present o tlioso whom thoy may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final.
