; Mr Healy and Mrßiggar are opposing the candidature of Mr Oshea, Mr Parnell's nominee for Galway, but owing to pressure having been brought to bear on him, Mr Healy reluctantly consented to withdraw his opposition. Intelligence is to hand that the ship Norway which left Sydney on November 22nd for Marseilles lias been burnt at sea. The crew were rescued and have been landed at Pernambucco.
