CARTERTON SMALL FARM SETTLEMENT ASSOCIATION.

♦- Tisadjournod meeting of the proposed Carterton Small Farm Settlement Association was held on Wednesday night in the Town Hall. There was a goodly number present. Mr G. A, Fairbrother was voted to tho Chair, Tho Chairman, in opening the meeting called upon Mr G. M. Gardener (Secretary pro tern.) toread the minutes, of the previous meeting, which, were read and duly confirmed. A letter was read from Mr H. Bunny, regretting his inability to attend the meeting, on account of having to be in Wellington at a meeting of tho Land Board, but promising to be in Cartertpfl at the earliest opportunity, and give what information he could to, the proposed Association, Mp \t 0.
