Mr Spiller, whose Neumeyer 'pianos we're fortunately remoyei fo 'a place 'of pafety, was insured'in the New Zealand Qflico for £4OO. The' stock' at fihVß'ranch ■ Hotel, jyjierb about £oo' wprth of damage has been done, wiis jnsured in the Colonial for £SOO, Tl(e total insurances, sp far as can be judged, says the Press, though the present list is not complete, some of the offices not being in a position to supply full pwtloulars till late In the day—seom to amount to over £SOOO, while the total damage is estimated at over £IO,OOO,
