COLLEEN BAWN.
The Masterton Amateur Dramatio Club proßontod the above at the Theatre Royal on Boxing night to a full house. All the performers acquitted themselves very creditably, but the feature of tho performance was the splendid acting of 3lrs T. Wrigley, whose delineation of Eiley O'Connor was given in a manner that took the house by storm, and earned loud and prolonged applause whenever she made her appearance. There was apparently no acting on her part at all, for every motion of her body, every sentence she uttered, and every expression on her face, seemed reality, and visitors' to Masterton expressed their suprise that such talent should have been allowed to lie hidden away. Mrs Wrigley'was ably supported by Miss Beaufort, Miss Sutherland, Mr Wrigley, [Mr Armstrong, and others, whom, for want of-room, we cannot notice in this issue, The piece was splendidly -mounted—so well, that the cost of production exceeded tho takings. It is intended to re-produce it on New Years night.. ' "
