The saddling bell will ring at 11.30, and tho first race starts at 12 sharp, No entry will be received, except on condition that all disputes shall be left to the decision of a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint; their decision on all points must be accepted as final. Any jockey riding except in tho colors entered will be fined £2, All protests must be made in writing and lodgec. \vith the Secretary, with a depoeit of £l, within fifteen minutes after the race, tho deposit to be forfeited if the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious, Owners are particularly requested to observ that to avoid being fined, notice of scratchings must be handed to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the time appointed to start, A hack horse is one in actual use as a hack and which has never run for any other than hack races,
