RULES AND REGULATIONS. _ The races will be run under the Wairarapa Jockey Club rules, when not contrary to these regulations. ' The saddling bell will ring at 11,30, and tho first raco starts at 12 sharp. No entry will he received, except on condition that all disputes shall bo left to the decision of a majority of the Stewards present, or those whom they may appoint; their decision on all points must be accepted as final. Any jockey riding except in the colors entered will be fined i'2, All protests must be made in writing and lotlgec. with the Secretary, with a deposit of £l, within fifteen minutes after the race, the deposit to be forfoited if the Stewards consider tlie protest frivolous or vexatious. Owners are particularly requested to observ that to avoid being fined, notice of ecratchings must bo handed to the Secretary fifteen minutes before the time appointed to start. A hack horse is one in actual use as a hack and which has never run for any other than hack races.
