WAIRARAPA HOSPITAL BOARD.
A meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Board was held at the Institute, Greytown, on Monday. Present—Messrs H. Bunny (chairman), W. C. Buchanan, and M, Caselberg! Mr Buchanan proposed and Mr Caselberg seconded, " That tho action of the Chairman in calling the meeting at that time and place be confirmed!"— Agreed to,
Mr Buchananan moved, Tljat in accordance with seotlqn 01), the chairman have an original and casting vote. - Mr Caselberg said he would second the motion, as he considered that it was necessary, as the Board was constituted, that the Chairman should have a casting vote. The motion was agreed to. Mr Caselberg moved, That three members form a quorum. Mr Buchanan moved as an amendment, That two members form a quorum. The amendment was carried. Mr Caselberg, at some longth, set forward the claims of Masterton as being the most suitable place for holding tho future meetings of the Board, and moved that the future, meetings of tho Board should be held 'at Masterton. Mr Buchanan proposed as an amend? ment that Greytown should be the place for meeting. The amendment was carried. Mr Buchanan movedj'and Mr Caselberg seconded, "ThatMr CharlesHigginsbe asked to act as Secretary to the Board." —Carried. Mr Higgins accepted the position at a salary of £5, to be increased if the Board could so arrange. The Chairman moved that the Secretary write to Mr R. Brown (Masterton), asking him to forward the minutes and correspondence of the meeting held at Masterton on November sth. Carried. This concluded the business. ,
