The Delta Lodge, L.U.F., meet this ovening at -tho Foresters' Hall, Messrs Lowes and lorns have a number of additions to their stock sale on 2nd December. Messrs Lowes and lorns held a sale this morning at their yards, of stock implements, horses, pigs and sheep. We remind our readers that the celebrated Faust Family open again in the Theatre Royal to-morrow night. Our Carterton correspondent writes I was in error in my report yesterday in respect to Mr Drake having arrived to tako charge of tho Post Office here. It is a relieving officer, Mr Baxter. Mr Drake has met with an accident by breaking his thumb, and is in consequence off duty for two months. Mr John Bullock, stationer, Wellington, has an announcement in another column to the effect that ho has a large stock of articles suitable for presents, toys, books, etc. The stock is, undoubtedly, one of the best in Wellington.
