ANOTHER MORMON EXODUS PROBABLE.
The American correspondent of tho Dunedin Star writes There are some well-authenticated rumors that Mqr'i mon people are arranging for a into Mexico, They have purchased a tract of land embracing 1,000,00(1 acres in tho State of Chihuahua, it is stated that the Mormons have paid for tho land, and demand a deed from the Federal Govern: ment of Mexico. It is also stated that the first body of migrating Mormons will arrive in their new Canaan—the fourth qf the series—jn December next. These re ; ports seem to have a basis in fact, though that they intend to abandon Utah is very doubtful. It is more, probable that the schome involves a pressure upon our Government to'let upon the prosecutions, and an extension of the Mormon domain, and to provide a retreat ffir tho peraeouteq polygamists in case of necessity. In either, case, ov all, it is nota cause of special joy. The crime of polygamy should be suppressed, and not be cast off into a neighboring country. There is anotlierruinor, which, if true, would bo cause pf general rejoicing—that js, that they are about tq receive a new reflation that will cut polygamy out of the Mormon religion. Utah saints succeed in keeping their secrets very well; but it is certain that the attitude of the Government is causing them great trouble of mind,
