No protest will bo considered unless odged with tho Secretary, within ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a deposit of two pounds, which shall be forfeited if considered frivolous or vexatious. All jockeys to ride in the colors nominated, or a fine of Isov. will bo enforced. The saddling bill will ring at 11.30 a.m., first race to start at 12 noon, sharp. The rules of tho Club to apply in all cases, A horse, to run in tiin Hack and Hack Hurdle Races, mustcomply with the following conditions'. — ' (1) It must be in actual use as a bona tide hack. . (2) It must not have been trained, i.e., galloped or sweated in clothing or rug for six months before this race meeting. (3) It must nover havo b°en entered for any other race, the 'advertised stake of which was more than fifty pounds. (4) It must not for two years previous to this race 'meeting have started' for any race except a Hack or Hack Ilurdlo Itace. (5) It must novcr have won any race except a Hack, or Hack Hurdle Race. 0.
