The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) held their weekly sale this afternoon, when there was the usual large attendance of biiyers, A r p prepentative catalogue of 4000 bales was submitted, pd tj)e biddings were spirited throughout, the bulk of the catalogue being disposed of at satisfactory prices, There js no special change in the tone of the market, All the better sorts of wool are in good demand, while faulty and inferior lots continue depressed, The highest price attained during the sale for greasy merinos was ll|d, while the scoured wool sold up to 16d.
