In clauso D, the judges desire to make the following alterations in their awards: —Wilson and Richardson, hon. mention for ladies' underclothing, to be altered to first prize (no competition). Clocks and optical goods—W. Littlejohn and Son, Wellington, special first-class prize for three turret clock and regulator, with special mention for excellence of workmanship ; Richard J, Barnes, Wellington, lion, mention for clock with iaocoronal pendulum; T. H. Proctor, Christchurch, first prize for optical goods. Chromolithographs printing—Archibald D, Willis Ist prize. The following in the order of merit in which the water motors exhibits are placed ; Pelton's Patent Impulse Reaston Wheel Motor, 1; Burt's Water Pressure engine, .2; Malfroy's Patent Turbine, 3 ; Schlaadt's Patent Screw Turbine.
Class N,, comprising taxidermy, feathers, collars and muffs: —H. E, Liardet first for feathers, collars, muffs, etc,, with special commendation (no competition), General taxidermy—Andreas Reischek, Auckland, Ist; H. E. Liardet, Wellington, 2nd, with special notice of mounted heads of animals,
