Messrs Stephens and Gorton report;—Wo held a large and successful sale at Feildlng on Tuesday. Wo yarded just 300 head cattle and over 500 sheep, The attendance was good, but the bidding for the cattle opened up dull, but grew more spirited as the sale progressed, and when it came to tho hoggets thero was keen competition. We sold all the sheep and the majority of cattle, and quote following satisfactory prices:—Fat cows, £5 ssto£s7sCd; fat bullocks, £7; fat heifers, £4 15s 3-year-old steers, £4 \7 ; 2-and-3-year steers, £3 10s, to £3 17s Odj 18-month heifers, 39s fid; mixed wcanerß, 21s; fat wethers, J3? 9d; hoggets, (mixed) 8s Od to iisßd,
