At Roefton Summer he was second for the Inangahua Cup, 9st, won by Satellite, 9st 41bs, won J.C, Handicap, 9st lOlbs, beating Field, Bat 61bs, Satellite, 9stlolbs, and another. He also won Railway Hate at Nelson, and ran in several otlior races there, and has always shown he was hard to beat, and could always carry weight and raco with it, He also, gained second prize at tho Wairarapa Agricultural Show m 1884, beating Promior Voltigeur, and Crawford Priory.
