MASTERTON RIFLES.
Three of the Volunteers who had passed the first two periods proceeded out to fire at the 700 and 800 yards ranges this morning. Owing to the heavy wind that was blowing, none of them reached the required number of points, viz., 25.
Tne annual class filing of the Masterton Rifles commenced yesterday under DrillInstructor Bexar, who is up for the purpose- for the week.
