THE GRAND ANNUAL SHOW, Uaßor the Auspices and Direction of the WJ&RARAPAaxd EASTCOASTrASTORAL AND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY Will bo held on the SOCIETY'S SHOW GROUNDS, AT CARTERTON ON WEDNESDAY, the 4th day of NOVEMBER, 1885. THE Show will include Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Implements, Farm and Dairy Produce, Vehicles, and Industrial Exhibits. The Society will, as in previous years, offor about forty gold and silver medals, aa well as cash prizes, in each of the above Btated sections of exhibits, and in addition thereto a large number of valuable ipeciatoprizes in cash and in plate have been {Mused, bringing the total amount of all fazes fully up to the averago of the last three years. A Leaping Match, a Shearing Match, and a trial of Sheep Dogs will take place pn the Grounds during the afternoon, Piwrammea and Prize Lists giving full infoJjfttion as to conditions of entry, regUi'ions for judging, and all other details aro now being prepared, and will be published and circulated shortly, Arrangements will be made to run special railway trains at reduced rates, also to have tho Show Day proclaimed a Bank and General. Holiday throughout the Intending Exhibitors are informed that entries close on SATURDAY, the 24th of October, 1885, at noon, either at the Secretary's Office, Carterton, or the offices of Messrs R, Brown and Co., Masterton; F. H. Wood and Co., Greytown; and J. D. Oakly, Foatheraton, and that no entriei can bo received after that date.
