RIFLE MATCH.
The return match, between the-Wel-lington. City. and the Masterton Rifles, .came off at the Manaia butts on Saturday' morning. The local team had again to accept a defeat which they did with a good grace. The match was fired in a friendly spirit throughout. Both teams were some of their best mon short, notably Masterton, which brought the shooting below the average. Vol Allen made the highest score for.the City Rifles, and Yol G. : Bentley carried off the honor for Masterton. The following are the scores :
