Renter's Telegrams, RESULT OF THE A.J.C. DERBY,
Sydney, September 19.. The A.J.O. Derby, one mile and a half, was run at Randwick this afternoon, and resulted as follows Nordenfeldt ... ... 1 Uralla ... ... 2 First Chester 3
Only four horses started, Yoondoo being scratched. Nordenfeldt assumed the lead, atthe commencement, and maintained that position all the way round. There was a grand finish, Uralla being beaten by a length, while double that distance separated the second and third horses. Time, 2min 47|secs.
Eor the Epsom Handicap, one mile, sixteen horses started, A grand race ensued, resulting in Folly winning on the post by a head. Wing was second and Lord Exeter third. Time, lniin 43Jsecs.
