Tiie following are the amounts available for opening Crown Lands in the County of passed this session, liabilities being deducted Mangabao and Mangatai: noko, .£1,750 ; Mnngaone, Pu|iiatua, and adjacent blocks, £5012; Makakahi fioad, £1,000; Kaiwhata, £1,000; Mikimiki, <£l,ooo ; Eangituraau, £1437; total, £11,199; probable proportion of vote for Seventy-Mile Bush for Wairarapa East, £1,000; total for expenditure in Wairarapa East, £12,199. When it is considered that the Public Works Estimates have been reduced by upwards of £500,000, this must be looked upon as exceedingly satisfactory.
