THE GRAND ANNUAL SHOW, Under the Auspices and Direction of the WAIBABAPAasd eastcoast pastoral AND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY Will bo held on the SOCIETY'S SHOW GROUNDS, AT CARTERTON OX 1 WEDNESDAY, the 4th day of NOVEMBER, 1885. THE Show v/ill includo Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Implements, Farm and Dairy Produce, Vehicles, and Industrial Exhibits, The Socioty will, as in previous yoars, offer about forty gold and silver medals, as well as cash prizes, in each of the above Btated sections of exhibits, and in addition thereto a large number of valuable special prizes in cash and in plate have tjeon promised, bringing tho total amount of all prizes fully up to the average of the last three years, A Leapiug Match, a Shearing Match, and a trial of Sheep Dogs will take place on the Grounds during the afternoon, Programmes and Prize Lists giving full information as to conditions of entry, regulations for judging, and all other details are now being prepared, and will be published and circulated shortly. Arrangements will be made to run special railway trains at reduced rates, also to have the Show Day proclaimed a Bank and General Holiday throughout the Valley. Intending Exhibitors are informed that entries close on SATURDAY, the 24th ol October, 1885, at noon, either at the Secretary's Office, Carterton, or the offices of Messrs R. Brown and Co., Masterton; F, H. Wood and Co., Grcytownj and J. D. Oa'ily, Featherston, and that no entries can be received after that date.
