Waverley from Patea, sold jat from LO. to LB 7s Gd; 2 pens of fair quality bullocks, from the Wairarapa, sold at 1710 a and L 8 respectively. We quote prime beef at 22s 6d, and medium do at 20s per lOOlba. Fat sheep—We sold 305 head, principally ewes and light heights, at from 13a 3d tolCs, We quote mutton at 2Jd per lb. All description of fat stock forwarded tu us,- meet with ready sale at fair prices, Settlers wishing to take advantage of the market, are requested to send •in their entries early. ■ Our -next sale takes place on the 9th September."
