(Before H. A. Stiutfohd, R.M.) Constable Darby v George Kiddie.— Furious riding-Fined 10a and costs. ■ D. A. A. Nicholson v C. G. Beckett.— Wages L 25 12s od. Mr Beard for plaintiff ; Mr Sandilands for defendant. Ihis claim appeared, to have arisen in consequence of the indentures between the parties having been, mislaid. The plaintiff claimed wages-at the rate of L2 lis a week, The defendant having found the indentures, showed the rate to be only 3os a week, and defendant desired to place all items of credit against the current wuges, while tlio plaintiff' wished to place them against an old debt of Ll], which was not included in the demand before the Court. Judgment for plaintiff for L4l9s Gd and costs, G. Osborne vG, Wall.—Debt £46 10s on promissary note, Judgment for plaintiff for amount and costs,
John Ray, v P, Crewe.—Money lent, £2, Mr Beard for Plaintiff, Mr Sandiltnds for defendant. This oase was before the court on a former oocasion, the plaintiff being nonsuited. Corroborative evidence was now put before the and judgment was entered for plaintiff for amount and cost. John Neilaon v Heini Te Miha.—Debt aoOsOd. Judgment for plaintiff, . G. M. Gardener vJ. JLGrattan.— Judgment summons £2l 17s od. The Plaintiff failed to prove that the defendant had had the means to pay since the date of the judgment, and was not permitted to prove the defendant's position before the judgment, The oase was therefore dismissed.
