EXCURSIONS TO SuUTIT SEA ISLANDS. mHE UNION STEAMSHIP COM--1 PANY OF NEW ZEALAND (Limited) purpose despatching their fine new steamer WAIRARAPA 1776 tons register, 1750 i.h.p. from Auckland, on. WEDNESDAY. 12th AUGUST, on a cruise to TONGA, .SAMOA, TAHITI, and other of the ' beautiful groups of the SOUTH PACIFIC. The steamer will be absent from Auckland about six weeks. Only first class passengers will be taken, and tho number will be limited to 100. Passengers must book by 18th July, and unless 70 are booked by that date the excursion will not take place, The attention of intending passengers is drawn to this provision, as it will be strictly observed. To ensure the greatest comfort during the voyage, special arrangements will be for berthing passengers, allowing accommodation to each, while the date has been fixed with a view to the islands being visited at the best season of the year. Fare, £56, including passage to Auckland and back. Note.—The excursion announced to leave Auckland on the 16th July is withdrawn in favor of the above.
