THE MISSING BOYS.
Our Carterton correspondent writes' -In answer to the fadyertisenient re tho missing bpyg, anejgPpirtpf piine informs me that two boys",' apsw'pring tp the description, came from Masterton by ■the afternoon train in company with Jiim. They got into the train at the Kurupuni Btation, and they told him that they-were going to Wellington to their friends, Upon being questioned about money, they said that they had only seven shillings «$ .sixpence between them, and the guard saj4 fre would take them as far as Peatherston. If their parents can find out the guard, he might b.eaMe to say whether they got out at Featherston or. not. My informant says that the boys' told him that they had senttheir blankets on a day or two before. Tl\oy were poorly clad, and delicate looking. There is every probability that they are the same boys, as the time corresponds. It was on the 4th inst, that my neighbour returned from Masterton, where he had been working for a few days.
