FOOTBALL.
'We direct the attention of Wairarapa footballers to the following restilfc of the 'drawinof for the Association Cup Matches of the Wellington Rugby' Football Association :—Senior 'Cup-rWellington first fifteen v. Athletic first fifteen, Saturday next; Maaterfcon v. Greytown, either at Greytown or Masterton, also on Saturday next. Junior Cup-Athletic second v. Petone first, Saturday week; Wellington second.v; Rugby first, also on Saturday week'; Poneke second v. Uiiion first, and Poneke first v. College first, on Saturday fortnight. : In connection with the Masterton and Greytown match, we may "state that the date appears to have been fixed without consulting the convenience of the Clubs concerned. The Greytown players are not prepared to play on Saturday, as they think that they require more practice before they will be able to give a good account of themselves. The Masterton Club, on the pther.hand, has arranged to play a match with Carterton>on 'the day fixed upon by the Association. It is evident that fresh .arrangements will-have to he made, so far as the two Wairarapa Clubs : that belong' to the Union are concerned.
