FEATHERSTON TOWN LICENSING DISTRICT.
The annual meeting of the above licensing district was held yesterday at the R.M.' Courtdiouse, Featherston, at noon. Present-Messrs Bunny (chairman), Cundy,. Donald, Reynolds and Toogood.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
•" Tho police■■■report on all tho licensed houses in the district was read, and was very satisfactory, all the houses having been conducted well, and the means of escapo in ' case of fire all being in good order,
.The Clerk reported that a poll under tho Licensing Act had been taken. The applications of J. McLennan, J. Smith, C. M. Brunskill, and A. E. Hayward for a renewal of their licenses were granted.
Accounts amounting to £5 2s (id were passed for payment. The meeting was thou adjourned until the 30fch June, at noon. FEATHERSTON LICENSING DISTRICT.The meeting of this was held immediate--ly after the above.— The clerk reported that a poll under the Licensing Act had been taken for the district. There were no applications for consideration by the committeoi ' J~~ ~ « ■ GREWTOWN LICENSING • ' ' DISTRICT. The meeting for Greytown Licensing District was then held. There were present: Messrs Bunny, (Chairman), Oundy, Jaokson, and Vennell, The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed, ; The Clerk reported that a date had been appointed for the taking of a poll tinder the Local Option Clauses of the Act, but that no person presented himself to record his vote, The police report on the licensed houses was read, and was found to be yery satisfactory. '' The applictions qf James Qrr, X M. Wilkinson, J. Hodge, and George Croot for tho renewal of their licenses for the Martinborough" Hotel, tho. Tauhoronikau Hotel, the Bush Hotel, and the Lake Ferry Accommodation House respectively, were granted, Accounts amounting to £sl2s 9d wore passed for payment. The meeting then adjourned until the 30th Juno, at noon.
