Valuation roll in forco.for the Cjounty : A general rate over the whole County of seven-sixteenths of a penny in the £. In the Masterton Riding, a separate rato of {& in the £.■ In the Alfredton Riding, a separate rate of five-sixteenths of a penny in the £. In the Wainuiofu Riding, a separate ■ rate of three-sixteenths of a penny in the In the Castlepoint Riding, a separate rate of five-sixteenths of a penny in the £. Tha period for which the above rates are to be made is the year commenced on the, Ist day of April, 1885, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1886. The rates will be made payable as follows : If the total amount of rates duo from any one ratepayer amounts to two pounds and upwards, the same shall bo payable in two equal instalments on the 14th clay of July and the Bth day of December 188 5 ■ ■ respectively. If the total amount of rates due from anyone ratepayer is uuder two pounds the same shall be payable in one instal-' ment on the Bth day of December, 1885!
