CORRESPONDENCE.

• - ■? A DENIAL. TO TIIE EDITOR. Sir—Superintendent Inspector Bayley at the Sutton enquiry May, stated that lie would prove that the Goathurst farm rams sold to Mr Ifitchings were six weeks amongst scabby rams in Riversdale, also that sheep had been drafted from Kiversdale jufected flocks and spread all oyer the country on clean certificates. Both these statomentß are incorrect, If false and malicious statements of this kind have been screwed, as must be inferred from Mr Bayley's vindictive harangue, out of one or two offlcors of his Department, more than two years after the alleged occurrence, I can only congratulate Mr Bayley on the extraordinary line of conduct he seems to have pursued. lam, &c,, R.
