Feeling seems to have run very high at Lord Tredegar's Show, which took place about three months ago at Newport, in connection with the award of the champion prizes, which went to Mr Rowley's. Shorthorn bull, Self Esteem 2nd, arid Mr Ackers' -Shorthorn heifer. Western Georgie, the favourites for these honours being Hercfm-da.. ■ The Hereford Times says :-Wo never saw. the Hereford fanners so.exasperated; they shouted that it was an obstinate fight for the breed; and not fair judging'bn the. merits.
