A telegraphic dispatch lias been received at the War Office from Sir Gerald Graham, in which ho states that the Colonial troops marched on Saturday last a distance of fourteen milea through a pass; consisting of most. difficult country, in nine hours, Colonel Richardson, the commandant, of the Australian contingent, conducting the retirement of the force in excellent Style.

A late Age Special says 'that, news received at Suakin tendstodisprove the accuracy of previous intelligence that Kassata had fallen,, and states that on the 20th March the garrison under Lupton Bey was still holding out. Intelligence of the disastrous defeat of the Mabdites by deserters in ICordofan is confirmed by news which has reached Cairo, It is further stated thathis adherents were totally destroyed at El Obeid.
