Certain offers of property for sale have been made to the Trustees, which are now under consideration. . Your Trustees finding that the-boundary of the township at Kuripuni, according to the original Crown Grant should include part of the creek, and a public road on, the southern side of the creek now in the possession of other parties, have taken stepp to get the matter rectified by applying to the Commissioner of Crown Lands for a resurvoy of that end of tho town. A special grant of £25 was made to the Library Committee for the purchase of new books, £SO to the School Committee for scientific apparati, extension of library, gymnastic appliances and encouragement of sewing, and the usual grants to the Fernridge School Committee and the public park. 1 Two vacancies occurred during the yiar by the resignation of Messrs McCardle and Sish, who have left the district, and your Trustees appointed Messrs Feist and Lowes for the remainder of the current year, in accordance with the Act of 1883, You will be called upon to elect three Trustees at the ensuing election in place of Messrs Gapper and Feist, tho retiring trustees, and Mr Lowes. It will be your duty at this meeting to elect two auditors'vice Messrs W, Sellar and J. Brown, whose term of office expires. The retiring Trustees and Auditors are eligible for re-election.
