Price camion this morning, and up to. two o'clock,; jlne following witnesses had been exaiihed ; for tlie prosecution -if ■ J. J. Freeth deposed to tlie fact of the case of Adams v Price being tried at-Mas-terton, and that Price hadstated on oath that he had never been seen walking with Mary Adams. . ' .ji^ Cross examined by. Mr Shaw witlijP . said he was not led by the think that the. accused wished the Cus|, to believe he had never walked Mary Adams. ';' Constable Healy deposed that he had administered the oath in the usual ws^ In cross examination he stated he did\ W use the-works "In this, case," when, ministering the oath. The Crown prosecutor said the sooner this form of administering the oath was amended the better J. G. Campbell, T. O'Connor, and M. O'Meara gave evidence to the effect .that they had seen Price walking with Mary Adams in different places, The Court then adjourned tcHJßfh.
