Mr Wickersen moved "That the offer made by Mr- Neil of 20a in the £ be accepted including the necessary expenses. Mr E. Dixon seconded. Mr-Skipper: Before that is passed I have a right to ask on behalf of the debtor whether he is agreeable to that, because I am perfectly certain he is not. Mr Sellar: This is "an offer on behalf of Mr 'Neil who is prepared to hand in a cheque ns soon as this resolution is confirmed at the next meeting. Mr Skipper: 1 doubt whether Mr Neil | will hand over the cheque as promised. Has Mr Neil any interest in Mr Cookery's estate ? ■ Mr Sellar: He is supposed to have the plant belonging to the estate. I have made a demand for that plant and Mr Neil offers to pay 20s in the £ and that is all the creditors want. Mr Skippei: On behalf of Mr Cockeiy I object'entirely to the transaction. I don't think you'll see Mr Neil's cheque at all Mr Sellar: Then we shall be in no worse position than we are now. Mr Skipper: All right, then I don't object; go on.
