O , MASTERTON V GrEYTOWH, A match between the above Clubs was played on tho Park Oval on Saturday and resulted in an easy win for Masterton by an innings and 51 runs, The Greytown team was weakened by the absence of Cuff, Hawke, and Judd, while Masterton was without the services of Whatman and Iggulden. Messrs Harrison and Udy captained the teams, Mossrs Ford and Wakelin umpiring, and Messrs Jacjues and Rockel scoring. The visitors were the first to go to the wickets' and were disposed off for the small total of 32, Udy. (11) being tho -only one to make anything like a stand. Botlume bowled in fine 'style and secured five wickets for ton runs. The home team then went in and ran up the respectable total of 102, Sleoman 29 and Peny 17 being the highest contribur tors.- Knell proved most effective with the leather,' getting four wickots. In their Becond innings the Greytown men fared even worse, Perry's bowling proving too much for them, and the whole team were disposed of for nineteen, Perry taking eight wiokejts for six runs.
