Chrisichurch, February 24, A.t tlio Selwyn County Council to-day it was reported that 33 acres of barley at Cheyney's Corner, on Northern Railway line, have been entirely stripped of grain by sparrows, Other crops on tho v same farm were much damaged, a nipthe owner estimates his loss at about bushels. 1
